Assad calls upon BRICS countries to intervene in Syrian conflict

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad calls upon the countries of the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China and the South Africa) to intervene in the ongoing conflict between the regime and the rebel forces. Al-Assad's official letter has been sent to the President of the Republic of South Africa, Jacob Zuma.The issue will probably be discussed at the BRICS summit scheduled for March 26.
